Quiz funnels for online stores: Help shoppers find the right product.

Shoppers who cannot decide often leave. A product finder quiz asks who they are shopping for, their style and budget, then shows matched products and captures their email for follow-up.

The problem

Why a contact form is not enough.

Lots of choice, no guidance

Even with filters, a big catalog leaves shoppers comparing tabs and second-guessing.

Pop-ups that only offer a discount

A generic email pop-up grows a list with no idea what each subscriber wants to buy.

Gift buyers need a shortcut

People shopping for someone else do not know your range and need help to choose with confidence.

How it works

A quiz that qualifies while you work.

  1. 1

    Connect your products

Sync Squarespace Commerce and map products to outcomes, or add product recommendations to each result yourself.

  2. 2

    Ask shopper questions

Who it is for, style, interests, budget and timing. Use image-choice answers to show looks instead of describing them. See how lead scoring works.

  3. 3

    Capture the email

Ask for an email before the picks appear, with a discount code as the reason to share it.

  4. 4

    Follow up by outcome

Add leads to a Klaviyo list or a Mailchimp audience with outcome tags (Pro), or run per-outcome email sequences from Squarespell. Read about writing result pages that convert.

Gift finder

Which product is right for you?

For brands with similar products: ask about skin type, roast profile, scent or use, then recommend one.

Build your bundle

Recommend a starter set, a bestseller edit or a premium collection based on budget.

Find your fit or shade

A few comparison questions help shoppers choose the right size or shade before they order.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Still unsure? Talk to a person.

Where does the embed go on my Squarespace store?

Paste the embed code into a Code Block on a page, or add it site-wide with Code Injection and open it as a popup or slide-in. The Squarespace guide covers both.

Does it work on Shopify or WooCommerce?

The quiz embeds on any site that accepts custom code, including Shopify and WordPress. Product sync is currently for Squarespace Commerce, so on other platforms you add product links to each result yourself.

Can the AI draft the quiz from my store?

If your store is on Squarespace, paste the address and the AI drafts questions and outcomes from your site. On other platforms, start from the Product Finder Quiz. Nothing goes live until you click Publish.

How does the Squarespace Commerce sync work?

Connect your Squarespace store, then choose which products belong to each outcome. Every result then recommends items from your own catalog. You can also add product recommendations to a result yourself, which is how it works on other platforms.

Can I offer a discount for finishing the quiz?

Yes. Include the code in the result page or result email, and add a countdown if it expires on a set date.

Can I test two versions of the quiz?

Yes. A/B testing of quiz variants is on Pro and Business, so you can compare different questions or result pages. See features.
