Quiz funnels for restaurants and cafes: Turn menu browsers into regulars.

Diners look at your menu online, then close the tab. A short menu quiz asks what they are in the mood for, who they are dining with and any dietary needs, then recommends dishes and a reason to book.

The problem

Why a contact form is not enough.

A menu page does not start a conversation

People browse, but nothing captures their email or brings them back for a second visit.

Guests you cannot reach again

Diners who book through third-party apps may never land on your own email list, so you have no way to invite them back.

Quiet nights need a reason to visit

Without a list of local diners and what they like, a midweek offer has nowhere to go.

How it works

A quiz that qualifies while you work.

  1. 1

Start from the Menu Recommendation Quiz

Use the template, or paste your Squarespace address and let the AI draft questions from your menu and pages.

  2. 2

    Ask about taste and occasion

Mood, flavors, party size, dietary needs and drinks. Keep it short and playful, like a server suggesting dishes. See how lead scoring works.

  3. 3

    Capture email for the recommendation

Ask for email and first name before showing the dishes, with a first-visit offer as the reason to share it.

  4. 4

    Bring them in

Link the result button to your reservations page or online ordering, and tag diners by preference for future emails. Read about writing result pages that convert.

FAQ

Questions, answered.

Still unsure? Talk to a person.

Can I add it to my restaurant website?

Yes. On Squarespace, paste the embed code into a Code Block on your menu page, or use a popup behind a "What should I order?" button. The Squarespace guide shows how. Other platforms work too wherever custom code is allowed.

Will the AI read my menu?

If your site is on Squarespace, the AI reads your page text, headings and navigation, so a menu written as text on your site gives it plenty to work with. A menu posted only as a PDF or image may not be picked up; in that case, start from the Menu Recommendation Quiz.

Can I run a holiday or seasonal quiz?

Yes. Quiz scheduling lets you set publish and unpublish dates, so a holiday menu quiz goes live and comes down on its own.

Does it connect to my reservation system?

Not directly. Link the result button to your reservation page. If you need lead data in another system, webhooks on Pro send each lead as JSON to any URL.

How much does it cost?

Core starts at $12 a month, or $9 a month billed yearly. Every account starts with a 14-day free trial with Pro features and no credit card. See pricing.
